Hoover's Last Stand Hoover's Last Stand.....what could the name mean? Does it really matter? HLS is an alternative rock band out of greensboro, NC with influences ranging from numetal to jazz to alternative to hardcore to emocore to everything else. Composed of 4 members so far, and looking for a new drummer, Hoover's Last Stand works hard to create music that is fresh to the ear and not as bland and boring as what rock fans are used to hearing these days. Kyle Clapp and Jason Feltis provide crunchy but smooth guitar riffs, Jackson Cooke lays down solid basslines, and Amy Pierce, the newest addition, brings a fresh new sound to alternative rock with her almost operatic voice.
